Will 3003-H22 aluminum diamond plate rust?
All metals rust, but some rust faster and some rust slower. Aluminum diamond plate 3003 produces a dense aluminum oxide “protective film” after oxidation, which isolates itself from the outside air and water vapor and prevents chemical reactions between them, thus preventing corrosion. Therefore, aluminum alloy has almost no problem with rusting.

Aluminum diamond plate 3003 H14 is used in shipbuilding, decks, reefer trucks, stair treads. Many customers need to use it for 90 degrees bending. However, not all aluminum tread plates can be guaranteed to bend without cracking. It is related to the aluminum tread plate grade and the condition of the plate. The following aluminum tread plate is OK for 90 degrees bending:
