What’s the difference between the 6061 aluminum bar and the 6063 aluminum bar?

6061 vs 6063.

6061 has more alloying elements than 6063. 6063 aluminum alloy bar has magnesium and silicon as the main alloying elements. It has excellent processing performance, excellent weldability, extrudability and plating, good corrosion resistance, toughness. Easy to polish, on the cladding, the excellent anodizing effect is a typical extrusion alloy. 6061 aluminum bar alloy’s main alloying elements are magnesium and silicon and form the Mg2Si phase.
